OBJECTIVES

THE PROGRAM SPECIFICALLY AIMS TO:

• Develop the trainees' communication competencies in a workplace professionally while practicing occupational health and safety procedures;

• Teach the trainees the appropriate preparation and maintenance of construction materials/tools and equipment while observing specifications, manual instructions and industry practices; and,

• Enable the trainees to demonstrate competencies in the:

                            1. Preparation of masonry material, tools and equipment and                                 basic masonry works; ​

                            2. Laying brick/block for structure, plastering wall surface                                     and installing pre-cast balusters and hand rails based on                                   clients request and on industry standards.
