BCSAT attains STAR rating
BAGUIO CITY, Benguet - The Baguio City School of Arts and Trades (BCSAT) earned two (2) Star Awards from the TESDA Central Office.
After undergoing star rating evaluation, BCSAT once again proved its dedication in providing quality training. The school was awarded with “2 STARs” for Cookery NC II and “1 STAR” for Food and Beverage Services NC II.
STAR rating is a recognition system for a registered program’s compliance to defined criteria on quality-assured delivery and related-activities. The highest award is 3 STARs.
During the flag ceremony at the BCSAT compound on November 13, 2017, RD Efren Piñol presented the STAR Awards to OIC-Administrator Arlene Cadalig and BSCAT staff in recognition of the school’s achievement.
RD Piñol told school officials, faculty, staff and students to continue working towards national recognition.
He also encouraged them to increase the number of programs to be evaluated under the STAR Rating in the future.
The BCSAT committed to continual improvement, so it can provide bigger opportunities to students. (Vilma Tolarba)
