TESDA-CAR RO, PO-Benguet undergo 3rd party audit

BAGUIO CITY, Benguet - Now on its fifth year of ISO 9001:2008 certification, the TESDA recently underwent a repeat audit in relation to the Agency’s transition to ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The 3rd Party Audit of the TESDA-CAR Regional Office and TESDA-Benguet Provincial Office were conducted on December 7 and 8, 2017, respectively.

The audit established if the Quality Management System of the TESDA is effectively implemented and if it is compliant to ISO 9001:2015.

As with the previous TUV SUD audits, core processes such as Program Registration, Assessment and Certification, and Human Resource Management were among the coverage of the audit.

Findings showed minor noncorfomities and opportunities for improvement. No major nonconformities were identified for both TESDA-CAR RO and TESDA-Benguet PO.

The audit was conducted by Mr. Xavier Lance DY and Mr. Albert Diuco of TUV SUD PSB Philippines, Inc.
