TESDA, DepEd ink MOA on teacher development
LA TRINIDAD, Benguet - At least 30 teachers of Alternative Learning System (ALS) and Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) of the Department of Education (DepEd) will undergo TESDA’s Trainers Methodology I (TM I).

The partnership is aimed at equipping teachers of ALS and TLE with the methodologies of teaching technical-vocational education and training (TVET) in line with the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
TESDA-CAR will conduct TM I and the succeeding assessment of the graduates, while the DepEd will identify participants and finance the program.

This partnership was forged through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the DepEd-CAR and TESDA-CAR signed on December 12, 2017 at the Agricultural Training Institute in La Trinidad, Benguet.
