TESDA partners with DA, ATI for capacity building

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Regional Directors and key personnel of the Department of Agriculture (DA), TESDA, and Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in CAR convened on December 12, 2017 to discuss areas for collaboration.

The most pronounced concerns during the meeting include (1) sharing of tools and equipment for agriculture and agriculture-related training programs; (2) capacity-building of DA and ATI personnel towards the pooling of trainers, assessors and for possible entrepreneurial endeavors; and (3) increasing the enrolment in agriculture-related programs.

Programs and projects of the collaborating agencies were presented during the meeting. The group agreed to establish a technical working group that would conceptualize projects and prepare proposals.
