Workshop on records control held
To monitor the implementation of the 2018 Action Plan, identify good practices and areas for improvement, the TESDA-CAR conducted a two-day Workshop on the Control of Records and Documents on April 26-27, 2018 at the Regional Office.
According to Mary Jane Bernales, workshop facilitator, the workshop also aimed to ensure common understanding and uniform implementation of the Quality Procedures, as well as enable the RO/POs to identify records for disposal.
It can be recalled that TESDA-CAR recently underwent migration to and certification in ISOO 9001:2015, of which records management is a mandatory component.
Records and Documents Controllers from the Regional Office and four Provincial Offices attended the workshop. The group was able to review and prepare NAP Form 1. Participants to the workshop included Julie Ann Banganan, provincial director of TESDA-Abra and focal director for Documents and Records, Marlyn Necesito, Eric Tesoro, Loremin Maneja and Carol Liboon of the Regional Office, Emilyn Sencio of TESDA-Abra, Helen Marantan of TESDA-Apayao, Charity Magallis of TESDA-Baguio, Nancy Dasayon of TESDA-Benguet, and Judilyn Langgaman of TESDA-Kalinga. #
