PO2 Froilan B. Gabriel, one of the graduates, said that the six-day training was very educational and helpful in the basic maintenance of vehicles, particularly the police mobile, a daily patrol vehicle.
“We commend the ‘advanced’ efforts and pioneering programs and initiatives of the LT police to provide better service to the people in the maintenance of peace and order in the municipality,” said LT Mayor Romeo K. Salda during the Graduation Program conducted on May 9, 2018 at the LTMPS.
Similarly, TESDA-CAR Regional Director Efren F. Piñol said that the graduating batch will serve as “igniters” or pioneers in helping to professionalize the police service which will benefit the people and community.
“These kinds of trainings are an investment for better service, and a good example of agencies working together as partners in development,” said RD Piñol during the program, noting that police vehicle maintenance was essential in ensuring timely service for the community.
RD Piñol added that TESDA has directives to prioritize families of police and army personnel Killed in Action (KIA), Killed in Police Operations (KIPO), or Wounded in Action (WIA) in TESDA trainings and scholarships. #
