TESDA-CAR undergoes internal quality audit

LOAKAN— In conformance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 certification, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) regional and provincial offices underwent Internal Quality Audit (IQA). The IQA likewise establishes the effectiveness of the agency’s Quality Management System (QMS) and identifies areas of improvement of the agency, an official said on Wednesday.
“We are conducting IQA regularly to ensure continuous improvement of the agency’s systems and procedures of our QMS,” said Engr. Manuel Wong, TESDA-CAR acting regional director.
The six provincial offices of TESDA-Cordillera underwent IQA ahead of the audit of the regional office which took up with the whole month of June.
Conducting the second party audits are trained lead auditors and team members.
Prior to the audits, team members went through calibration which included checklist preparation and root cause analysis.
Findings are documented through the TESDA Action Catalog (TAC). (PRESS RELEASE)
