TESDA-CAR chief vows to utilize the use of social media to inform the public of gov’t services
Tabuk, Kalinga -- Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA)- Cordillera vowed to maximize the use of social media platform as an outreach tool in informing the public about the agency’s programs and services that the clients can avail of.
“We will maximize the use of social media platforms to inform the public about our programs and services,” said Engr. Manuel Wong, TESDA acting regional director.
The TESDA-CAR chief paid a visit to the newly-elected Kalinga governor, Ferdinand Tubban where he informed the governor of new scholarship programs, such as Tsuper Iskolar and the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Program (RCEP).
Tsuper Iskolar targets drivers and their dependents who will be affected by the public vehicle modernization program; while the RCEP aims to enhance productivity of farmers and farmer-groups in three municipalities of Kalinga.
With the retirement of PD Gabriel Cayacay, PD Joel Pilotin will head the provincial office of TESDA-Kalinga starting July 5, 2019.
